However, those companies had not managed to come to grips with the manufacture of biodegradable coffee pods. Searching for a partner who could control this production process, they eventually ended up at Naber. Just around the corner, back in the Netherlands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is not easy to work with biodegradable materials. They are like sugar, which caramelises when heated. If any of the machines break down, they need to be repaired immediately to prevent the material from scorching and sticking to the machine and in the dies. Our Manufacturing Execution System (MES), the central control system to which all our machines are linked, gave ATI faith in this collaboration. Our operators can see all the machinery from a tablet in real-time.
