Care for the environment and sustainability are important focal points for our Germany-based customer Landgard. Landgard has been collecting their used flower packaging for years and years so that we can take them back. It is a circular stream of products and materials that can be recycled for ever.
Our flower packaging is made from 100% recycled PP mono-material. It is a challenge to process recycled material. The fluctuation of its technical properties make it more difficult to create a stable manufacturing process. We homogenise the recycled streams in large mixer units before turning the material into a new product.
Landgard is one of our customers who use our ultra-lightweight buckets. Our patented technology mean that they are up to 25% lighter, no less, than normal buckets on the market. Not only does this mean far less material, but it also produces considerable savings in terms of power during recycling, production and transport.
Over the years, we have already produced lots of patented product improvements. Those innovations were created by our own product development department, who can achieve great improvements for your packaging too, or shape your own specific wishes.
